Andy: I’m not religious, but I felt the need to pray before trying Conch Republic Dark straight. I didn’t have a good feeling, and oh my God, I actually had to run to the bathroom, thinking I was going to hurl. I really thought I was going to puke. This is one of the worst things I have ever put to my mouth. I would try it mixed with Diet Coke, but I didn’t want to waste the soda. It has a weird odor that smells like teriyaki sauce. Why would you want a rum that smells like teriyaki sauce? You wouldn’t.
Adrian: Conch Republic Dark rum tastes like a Bacardi product and this is why I don’t buy Bacardi products. I don’t care how much you think you want to try this rum….don’t. Run away…far away.
