Andy: For a relatively inexpensive rum, I really like it. It has a spicy taste with a nice burn going down. I find it way to harsh to drink without any mixers, but it is a great rum as a base for many cocktails. It is definitely a go-to rum for me in any kind of fruity cocktail I might make. Now I gotta go drop a deuce.
Adrian: Mount Gay Eclipse comes across ok straight, maybe just a little bite to it. When mixed with Coke, it goes down smooth, and you can up the rum content in the drink without killing the flavor. I could see this being an everyday rum for mixed drinks for sure.
