Andy: This rum works well mixed with Diet Coke and Lime, the sweetness of the cola brings out the national flavors in the rum. I’ve never been much for drinking light rum straight, and Pyrat Blanco is no exception, with the common burn attributed to light rums. If you’re looking for an up-scale rum as a mixer for drinks calling for a light rum, Pyrat Blanco is an excellent choice, but I would be sure to mix it.
Adrian: This is an excellent light rum for making mixed drinks. The flavor isn’t overbearing, it goes down easy mixed, and has a strong alcohol flavor with a hint of vanilla. Great with a splash of diet cola and a lime.
