| Andy: The Santa Theresa 1796 is an awesome rum. I was actually a little surprised about how good it really is. It is a tasty rum with some depth of flavor. This rum is good enough for you to drink strait and the flavor holds up to mixing with Diet Coke. The only thing I would say, is that the bottle was a little hard to open. It looks nice with the wax poured over the cork, much like Makers Mark Whiskey, but it took a while to break into it. I think I was just a little too anxious. I’m not good at waiting :) | |||||||||||||||
| Adrian: This is a really good rum. It is rich and smooth, but not heavy. I could easily drink this straight…or maybe with just a splash of Diet Coke. Any more than a splash and it will ruin this awesome rum. Just ask for a rum and rum and rum and coke… | |||||||||||||||

A very good rum. Top 5 for certain. It shows the drier side to an aged rum, but it’s nice pure and doesn’t sacrifice flavor and bouquet. A hard thing to find in most rums under $50. A solid buy.
