| Andy: This is a very unique silver rum, which is what I would expect from the mind of it’s namesake, Sammy Hagar. I think Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum actually has a flavor profile closer to a cachaca than a silver rum, although slightly sweeter than your typical cachaca and not as harsh. I really found that with it’s nice unique flavor, it made a tasty rum and diet coke and makes a unique addition to your favorite fruity beverage. If you are looking for a standard silver rum, this rum probably isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a very unique, flavorful silver rum, I would definitely recommend Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. | |||||||||||||||
| Adrian: Sammy’s Beach Bar rum smells and tastes exactly like a cachaca. I found it to be rather harsh when sipped straight. When mixed with rum and diet coke it really doesn’t have the flavor you would expect from a silver rum. I would really use this in drink recipies that call for a cachaca but it’s not my favorite for a rum and coke. | |||||||||||||||
